Staycation in Parque España

Five of my friends and I decided to have a different kind of trip. Yeah, but no travels,  just a relaxation inside Parque Espana hotel in Alabang. Last year, four of them already stayed here and as we go through, they site differences between last year’s experience and the recent. One of them wrote a review regarding in our stay in the Trip Advisor website.

Quoted from Bino Bautista:

This was the 2nd time that I and my friends stayed in Parque Espana. Last time was last year via metrodeal voucher and our experience were terrible because this hotel had poor customer service.

This year, however, was a different experience. We booked an overnight stay last June 14-15, 2014 and this was via a voucher we purchased via groupon. The moment we approached the receptionist, she welcomed us with a smile unlike last year where the receptionist was arrogant.

After 10 minutes of waiting, she gladly handed us the access card to our hotel room 1207 located at the 12th flr. She even gave us advice that there is a 24-hour shuttle service going to Festival Mall and Alabang Town Center, something that the previous receptionist (Erwin) last year didn’t even bother to tell us.

The room that we had was good for 6 persons. Three bedrooms, A kitchen complete with utensils, maid’s quarter, TV in the sala and another inside one of the bedrooms. Complimentary bottle water and banana chips were given.

Simple yet so clean.

Feel at home! 🙂

When we called the front desk and requested for a gallon of water, bowls, extra spoon and fork and other items, they responded very politely and after a couple of minutes, our requests arrived. We didn’t even need to call back to follow-up our request unlike last year (You may see my previous review about this hotel). They were the one who called us to make sure that our requests have arrived.

Early in the morning we went down to get our continental breakfast which was also included in the voucher. Kudos to the person in charge as he greeted us also with a smile and was very accommodating. He even waited for us to be finished eating unlike last year when the waiter removed our plates even though we’re not finished eating yet.

We enjoyed the meals as it was cooked way way way better than what we had in our previous visit.

In additional, we also enjoy the pool which located on top of the hotel.

The moment we checked out, we requested for a shuttle service and the receptionist Bernard gladly helped us unlike again last year when no one gave a damn.

Kudos to Parque Espana Staffs for these big changes!

Stayed June 2014, traveled with friends
